Sepasco Lake/Rhinebeck Area Damage Images from the December 1, 2006 Severe Weather Event

Straight line severe thunderstorm winds, estimated by Albany NWS damage survey teams of 75-80 mph produced the extensive damage to trees from Rhinebeck northeast to Sepasco village along Route 308.
Sepasco Lake	Trees throughout the region were found to have been generally blown down in the same direction, evidence of straight line winds vs. a more rotary damage pattern typical of a tornado touchdown.
NWS damage survey teams found that most of the damage that occurred to structures was not directly caused by the wind, but rather from large trees falling into the buildings	Significant damage was caused to this home due to a fallen tree
